The Government of Peru has confirmed its intent to buy two surplus Hercules KC-130H aircraft from Spain for an approximate value of 35 million dollars.
The Lockheed Martin KC-130H is a family of the extended-range tanker version of the C-130 Hercules transport aircraft modified for aerial refueling.
These aircraft will be used by the Peruvian Air Force (FAP) both for military operations and to attend disasters, fires, and other humanitarian operations, as will soon be the national distribution of batches of vaccines against COVID 19.
